6. Making the Choice to Place Your Faith in Christ for Salvation

The choice to place your faith in Christ for salvation is a personal one, but it is a choice with eternal consequences. It is important to make a conscious choice about salvation, rather than simply going with the flow or following the crowd. Each person must make up their own mind about whether to place their faith in Christ or not.

The invitation to place your faith in Christ is open to all. It is a free gift of grace that is available to anyone who believes. If you have never placed your faith in Christ for salvation, consider doing so today and experience the transformational power of a relationship with God. Take stock of your former years, how life is for you these days, and what you would like your life in the future to reflect about the type of person you are or will be.

We invite you to consider placing your faith in Christ, and to experience for yourself the joy and hope that comes from this life-changing decision. In doing so, you too will have new testimonials about your former life and how your new life in Christ has made you a better person just like all those who have chosen this path.

Just know that you won’t be able to grow on your own and fight temptations otherwise. But God will empower you with His Spirit who will help you overcome your battles. He will teach and guide you until you mature in Christ as long as you yield to His promptings and obey God’s word. The only work you need to do is for the sake of your own growth, not to earn salvation because it is a gift from God. But if you do the work required for your personal growth, you will mature as your experiences in winning battles and innermost struggles.

Your victories will help build your faith as you see God swoop in to save the day when you need Him. And you will know that it was only by God’s power and presence in your life that you were able to overcome. You will even see God’s blessing and provisions all around you here and there. You will also experience the unctions of the Holy Spirit nudging you to make ther right decisions. You will have a journey ahead filled with lots of moments of God’s supernatural blessings, favor, and joy.

These reassurrances will all add fuel to your fire that the Holy Spirit can use to inspire others when it is your time to minister to the lost or share your personal two minute testimoney. When you share your story, you don’t have to get into details or long history of sin. A two minute testimoney is when you simply let someone else or other people know that you were once a sinner saved by God’s grace and mercy, through the blood of Christ.

You let them know how you have changed. For example, you no longer do the things you used to do or say the things you used to say, or go to places you used to frequent. Let them know one or two things that God did for you and you know it was HIm without a shadow of doubt. He blesses you all because you respect and honor God’s presence in your life. Also, you overcame by your faith in Jesus Christ who saved you from eternal damnation and now you live a life to please your Lord and Savior.

And just like you once thought that there was no way you could possible make that committment and to trust God to help you, your audience will learn that they also have the same chance and they can do it too. All they have to do is repent from their sin, trust God, have faith in what Jesus did for them, and believe that the Holy Spirit is taking care of them through their journey.

Your story here will be reflected in your heavenly records. You will be blessed and rewarded for all the souls you help realize their worth in God.
